Upcoming, All-Electric Chevy Bolt Production Finally Begins

2017 Chevrolet Bolt

It seems like forever since the Chevrolet Bolt – an all-electric vehicle that raises the bar for the entire industry – was first announced. But now, it’s finally happening—the 2017 Chevy Bolt has gone into production.

Technically, pre-production editions of the model are in the works, and the full production models will begin construction in October. But for now, it’s important to test the model with test vehicles.  Either way, we are excited for the Bolt to be even closer to here at Don Brown Chevrolet.

Based on what we know so far, the new Chevy Bolt will be one of the most impressive vehicles on the market, getting up to an astounding 200-mile range on electricity alone. Think of the gasoline saved!

Plus, rumor has it that the Chevy Bolt will cost about $30,000, a price well worth it, especially when you consider the money you will save on gasoline.  We are hopeful that the Chevy Bolt will be a reliable car that will continue to have value after your purchase it!

As Chevy Bolt production begins, we can’t help but get excited for the vehicle, which should hit dealerships next year. Until then, visit us anytime at Don Brown Chevrolet to check out what we have in store!
